Setouchi Blue Exhibition

Thanks to a wonderful connection with one of my customers, I am delighted to begin exhibiting at Gallery Kuwamitsu, a long-established gallery just steps from Fukuyama Station. Founded in the late Edo period, the gallery has a long and distinguished history.

This will be my first time participating in the Setouchi Blue Exhibition, a group exhibition featuring many makers and inspired by the beautiful blues of the Seto Inland Sea.

For this exhibition, I will present handwoven cotton knotting pieces made with indigo-dyed yarn, along with wool chair pads in a range of beautiful blue tones.
